Joan Price has written several books on the subject of senior sexuality, and has a vivid presence online and at conferences. She is an energetic advocate of sexuality after midlife, and examines without flinching issues of grief, illness, and how humans change over time. Yet her enthusiasm for the enjoyment of sexuality is unswerving.
This book was her first in the field, and she writes about some of my favorite topics: how our generation has time-travelled from hippies to matrons to second adolescence, and the phenomenon of the sexual ‘Late Bloomer’ among women.
