As she neared her sixtieth birthday, photographer Jenny O’Connor began to meet with other New Zealand women to discuss photographing them.  Jenny wanted to photograph each woman dressed in clothing of her choice, full length, and against a black background.  So many women age sixty were interested in the project that Jenny expanded her idea into a book, not just a photography exhibition.  The result is a compelling visual record of women reaching the milestone age of sixty.

PS I can no longer find this book for sale in the US, which is a great pity.  The links go to a YouTube video of the images.
